In order to enable new patient to access a doctors of their choice at the centre we have developed a process where patients may choose to have "registration" appointments with one of our practice nurses. Once this appointment has been completed you would be free to call the surgery at any time to arrange an appointment with a doctor of your choice.
You will be sent a questionnaire to complete and bring with you to your "nurse registration" appointment
Cost for this appointment is $56.00 - no medicare rebate applies for this fee.
If you need to see a doctor as a new patient because you have medical needs to be attended to, that can be arranged but may have a longer waiting period attached to it.
For further details please call the surgery and ask to speak with our new patient coordinator.
Ros and Teresa, our practice nurses, do IMMUNISATIONS, injections and wound dressings, as well as checks for blood pressure and diabetes. They also see patients with chronic conditions who need regular review. Appointments for the practice nurses can be booked ahead as needed.
